1st Chris Hague 3 pts. 2nd Glenn Woodford 1 pt. 3rd Malcolm McKendrick 1 pt. 4th Geoff Collins 1 pt. Retired: Peter Kessell
A day of very mixed weather, just like the whole summer I suppose, which produced an interesting result with three pilots in the fly-off for second place. Glenn managed to out-fly Malcolm and Geoff to give him his third good result of the season. However, as the best four scores count Glenn, with only three rounds contested, was at a disadvantage and ended up fourth on equal points with Geoff in the overall scores. Malcolm flew consistently to finish third overall and consistent flying in the early rounds enabled Peter to establish an unassailable lead. So congratulations go to Peter, who becomes our fourth different winner of the Round Robin series, a format of competition which I started in 2003. For the eighth year in a row, by request from contestants, I will run the same competition again in 2010. Happy thermalling.
