PHOENIX MFC 2007 Scale  COMPETITION

There were seven entries in our Scale Competition this year, flown in superb weather conditions. Simon’s ME109 was built from a Galaxy kit 19 years ago and along with the other entrants flew in a most scale like manner. The results were close and the trophy winners were as follows:

1st Simon Cragg                             Messerschmitt ME109
2nd Malcolm McKendrick                Antoinette
3rd Rod Board                                Cessna Agwagon

 

I would like to thank all the other club members who gave flying time to the competitors when required and for the smooth manner in which all the flying progressed. A special thanks not only from myself, but from the entrants as well, go to Aubrey Roberts and Phil Smith for their meticulous judging throughout the afternoon.
