Our thanks go to Simon & Glenn for running the competition on a perfect early summers day with light and variable winds and a max of 20 degrees. The conditions improved throughout the day, with strong lift available from 12:00 until about 15:30 when a gusty sea breeze took over. Garry flew very smoothly and made the most of the lift to come first. Phil B. and Peter K were separated by only 5 seconds for second and third place. Malcolm timed it just right in the vintage class to dominate the leader board with three excellent flights.
