What's been happening at the patch! - (Scroll down for Spotted Again!)

A good number of members turned up this month to assist in getting the patch ready for what we hope will be a great year for flying. Simon is pictured here with his vibrating roller. |

Some workers gather round at the far end of the patch while Glenn races toward them with another offering of soil. Meanwhile, Simon continues to prepare the runways! |

Rod checks to see that he is clear to deposit his load of soil before Simon rolls him over! |

A few hours later and the soil has been raked and leveled. Everyone else has gone but Simon still rolls on! Is it the vibration he likes???? |

Spotted again! Theory 1- Embarrassed about the dedication he effortlessly displays for maintaining the patch Simon has returned in camouflage so that he can't be seen rolling? Theory 2 - Simon has come up with a new indestructible undercarriage system, for the 'unconventional' and with nice military colours too! |
